Job Description

The Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) is a not-for-profit outpatient mental health center established by the University of Missouri-St. Louis to provide psychological services to residents of the St. Louis metropolitan area. CBH is committed to offering high-quality, timely, and affordable services to individuals who would not otherwise be able to afford professional mental health care.

4 positions will be located at: West County - Center for Behavioral Health 12837 Flushing Meadows Dr., Suite 220 Town and Country, MO 63131

1 position wil be located in Union, MO. - Center for Behavioral Health Family Resources Center, 500 Clark Avenue, Union, MO 63084

Position Objective: To provide psychological evaluation of children and adolescents on behalf of one or more agencies that has contracted with the Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) for such services. To administer, score, and interpret psychological tests and to prepare comprehensive evaluation reports of children and adolescents in outpatient and educational settings.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Complete psychological evaluations within time frames established by CBH policy and in accordance with CBH contractual obligations.
Attend staff meetings as indicated.
Outpatient documentation and quality assurance standards have been established and compliance with these is expected.
All clinical services are expected to be delivered at the highest level of competency by the incumbent, consistent with his/her training, experience and credentials. Clinical services must meet ethical standards for the profession.
Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Clinic Directors.

Minimum Qualifications
Education or Training: Masters in School or Clinical Psychology & Missouri Certification as a School Psychologist.

Required skills and abilities: Experience and formal coursework in psychological assessments with children and adolescents, and in the administration, scoring and interpretation of intellectual, educational and objective/projective personality testing of children.

Supervision Received: Administrative/clinical supervision is received from licensed psychologists on the staff of the Community Psychological Service.

Shift

20 hours/week

Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday-Saturday 8am-5pm

Salary

$30/hr

Minimum Qualifications

Education or Training: Masters in School or Clinical Psychology & Missouri Certification as a School Psychologist.

Required skills and abilities: Experience and formal coursework in psychological assessments with children and adolescents, and in the administration, scoring and interpretation of intellectual, educational and objective/projective personality testing of children.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work and relevant licensure (or eligible to be licensed within 12 months) within the State of Missouri.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.
