Description of Duties

SUNY Canton invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning Fall 2023.

Anticipated Duties:

• A 4/4 teaching load, which may include traditional in-class, hybrid and online modalities.
• Engagement in professional development and relevant scholarly activity
• Advising and mentoring students
• Participation in departmental and college committees.

Qualifications

Required:

• Juris Doctor degree or ABD. Other ranks maybe considered.
• Ability to teach both in person as well as online

Preferred:

• Previous teaching of college law related courses. Admission to state bar. Experience practicing law.

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
