Lecturer - Lawyering Skills and Strategies (LSS) - (ADJ000595)



The University of Houston Law Center (UHLC) invites applications for a non-promotion eligible, non-tenure track Lecturer position for the academic year 2022-2023. The position will commence no later than August 2022 and will end on May 31, 2023.

The position will teach two sections of UHLC’s LSS course in the Fall of 2022, and two in the Spring of 2023. Examples of each are given by the links below:

An attorney appointed to the position must, at a minimum, hold a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. As a non-tenure track position, the appointee will accrue no time toward tenure at the University of Houston.

The person who obtains the non-tenure track appointment for this position can be an internal candidate eligible to apply for available positions within the UHLC.
