Hood College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology position to commence August 1, 2022.  Candidates are expected to exhibit a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, as well as be able to involve students in their research area.

We seek a candidate with a strong commitment in a liberal arts setting, who is passionate about high-impact learning experiences, and who values diversity, equity and inclusion in all that they do.  Candidates must have strong organizational skills and proven ability to work collaboratively across academic disciplines.

Education and/or Experience 

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Developmental or Clinical Psychology and be prepared to teach undergraduate sections in Introduction to Psychology, Developmental Psychology and/or Abnormal Psychology, as well as specialty courses within their area of expertise and more general courses within the department (ABD also considered).
