Job Summary/Basic Function
The Assistant Director of International Admissions and Recruiting (ADIAR) works cooperatively with the ISSC Director on recruiting and admitting new students. The Assistant Director will travel to recruiting events and/or participate in web-based recruiting opportunities. This individual will ensure the smooth transition of prospective students through to the completion of the enrollment process. The AD also acts as a DSO for the University and works with admitted students through the visa immigration process. The AD assists with assessment efforts of the division and within the unit; including basic tracking of activities, program evaluation, and measurement of learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree
2 years college student admission and/or college recruiting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field
Experience with SEVIS
Experience with college admission
Experience with student recruitment
Experience working in a foreign country
Experience with student/event programming
Experience with cross cultural communication and working with the university and local community
One year experience working as DSO, RO, PDSO, or ARO
First-hand experience working with Banner
Experience in providing one-on-one academic advisement to students in a college setting
Familiarity with international credential evaluations
Preferred candidates will have strong interpersonal skills

The annual salary for this position starts at $48,000 and may go up from there based on candidate experience. The position comes with a generous benefits package.
