1. Territory Management and Event Planning • Collect, analyze and interpret historical data to determine funnel trends for assigned territory. • Formulate goals based on historical trends and projections for assigned territory. • Refine and implement a recruitment plan for assigned territory with appropriate objectives and strategies to reach set goals to include budgetary needs as required. • Formulate and implement a comprehensive travel plan that includes college fairs, private visits and special programs as required .Primary point of contact and application evaluator for International, out-of-state, and new Transfer student applications
.Designs, plans, and executes undergraduate recruitment events to include but not limited to open house, admitted student days, program specific events, school counselor events, and community outreach activities.
2. Funnel Management
• Build an inquiry pool sufficient in size and quality to reach established enrollment goals
• Counsel prospective students regarding admissions policies and procedures and the University in general
• Communicate via phone, email and letters with most qualified inquiries to encourage submission of the application
• Maintain communication with applied students to encourage and support completion of the application process
• Independently evaluate completed files and make admission decisions based on established criteria
• Maintain contact with accepted students using yield enhancement strategies to reach enrollment goals

3. Office Leadership
• Daily supervision of the Assistant Directors and preparation of annual evaluations
• Serve as acting director in the absence of the Director and Associate Director
Assists in the development and execution of the Office of Undergraduate Strategic Enrollment plan.   Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree required with significant experience in recruitment, admissions or student services. The Associate Director must be familiar with student recruitment and policies and procedures related to student admissions and comply with such policies and procedures. This position requires strong oral and written communication skills; the ability to work with diverse populations; competence in technology and computer skills: the ability to collect and analyze data using the results to implement future programs, plans and strategies.  Valid Driver's License   Management Preferences: Masters Degree
Higher education background or transferable skills from corporate environment.
Working knowledge of new student enrollment support services to include financial aid, records and registration, transcript evaluation, and operation of Admissions CRM
Experience in event planning, digital marketing, and creation of admission literature and publications.
Direct experience in Undergraduate Admission or other form of student services.
Ability to work and respond in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to student organizations including student ambassadors, and student telecounselors.   Special Instructions to Applicants: This position is subject to the successful completion of an employment background check.
