Director of Online Graduate and Professional Studies

SUMMARY The Director of Online Graduate and Professional Studies is responsible for the curricular integrity, consistency, and assessment of online offerings at Husson University, particularly related to graduate nursing, IT, and business programs. The Director will maintain superior student experiences by driving quality online course development, teaching excellence, and learning assessment across the University. Reporting to the Associate Provost of Online and Distance Education, the Director will work closely with faculty directors, and the Online Team, to establish and deliver high quality online programs and initiatives consistent with Husson's brand and standards. The Online Director is responsible for working with Online part-time and full-time faculty, online instructional designers, and academic leads to ensure that student-learning outcomes are being met at appropriate levels through excellence in academic delivery and backed by a robust assessment strategy. The Director will also be responsible for accreditation efforts, and conduct outreach into the larger academic and professional communities to ensure alignment with career skills. The Director will support the growth of online programs through managing online course scheduling and instruction, and collaborating with the online enrollment team. Attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work under deadline is important.
