Assistant Professor-tenure track-Communication Studies

Cazenovia College is located in the historic lakefront village of Cazenovia, New York, 19 miles southeast of Syracuse.

Communication Studies: Assistant Professor, tenure-track. PhD or other terminal degree in Communication or closely related field required (ABD considered). Successful undergraduate teaching experience in Communication coursework also required. Demonstrated capacity for innovation and interdisciplinary instruction techniques, and the ability to guide students in research is preferred. Course load may include: Introduction to Human Communication; Effective Speaking; Interpersonal, Nonverbal, Multicultural, Group, Health, or Organizational Communication; Communication Theory; Persuasion. All faculty members engage in teaching, advising and mentoring of students; college service duties/responsibilities; and scholarship/professional development.
