Kinesiology, Nutrition, & Health: Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach courses in public health, including introduction to public health, public health communication, national and global health policy, public health disparities past and current, and other courses as needed. Successful applicants will be expected to teach undergraduate (and graduate courses if qualified). Appointments begin August 15, 2022 and are for Academic Year 2022–2023 with the possibility of annual renewal for up to 4 years contingent upon available funding and job performance.

Required: Doctorate in Health Promotion, Health Education, Public Health, or a closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor or Master’s degree in Health Promotion, Health Education, Public Health, or a closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as an Instructor. Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Consideration may be given to candidates with experience working in public health or related fields; previous university teaching experience; CHES (certified health education specialist); CPH (certified in public health; experience teaching hybrid or fully online as well as face-to-face courses; scholarly productivity; demonstrated commitment to social justice.
