The Accounting Specialist is a full-time career service position.
The Accounting Specialist supervises and participates in a variety
of advanced and complex accounting tasks involving the maintenance
of financial records and the processing of related data. Processes
requisitions, maintains budget control, reconciles accounts, posts
ledgers, maintains journal entries, audits journal vouchers and
budget amendments, prepares checks and submits regular and
specialized accounting reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited
institution with an associate degree, and two years accounting or
bookkeeping experience. Related appropriate work experience may be
substituted on a year to year basis for the required education.

SALARY RANGE: $27,825.00 ($14.27/hour)
