Description: Carroll College, a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana, invites applications for a visiting professor of Psychology to begin August 2022. We seek a candidate with expertise in Developmental, Cognitive, and/or Social Psychology. The visiting professor position does have a strong possibility of turning into a tenure track position.
We are seeking a colleague who has demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching psychology courses at the introductory, and advanced undergraduate levels. Ph.D. at time of application is preferred, but ABDs will be considered. Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the individual’s area of expertise as well as other courses required for the major, such as General Psychology or Developmental Psychology. There are opportunities to develop courses in the candidate’s expertise as electives for the Psychology major.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Psychology by August 2022. Teaching in a higher education setting as well as research experience is preferred.
