ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL AID

Scope of Job:
To assist the Associate Director or Director, Financial Aid in
planning, administration and management of all assigned federal,
state and local financial aid programs; and to manage key areas of
the office, including support of customer service functions and
major programs. Responsible for assisting in the administration of
various financial aid programs and related functions of the Office
of Financial Aid.
Description of Duties:
• Supervises, trains, and provides technical assistance to
professional and support staff, and evaluates employee
• Reviews and interprets business analytics and statistical data to
determine data driven informed decisions.
• Makes packaging recommendations to improve the strategic use of
financial aid programs.
• Responsible for managing federal and state programs.
• Seeks new and/or additional funding sources from federal, state,
institutional and private organizations.
• Collaborates with internal and external departments and
organizations to accomplish financial aid and enrollment management
• Makes recommendations for enhancing departmental operations,
including the establishment and implementation of short and
