Temporary Operations Supervisor, Equipment Distribution Center

Looking for a collaborative operational resource for customers during checkouts, supporting technical questions and concerns, and share the responsibility for overseeing student staff during vending operations.

Your team: Media, Technologies, and Production

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the vending of production equipment and ensure that kits are complete and in good working order.
  • Perform equipment checkouts from start to finish with student customers, including retrieval of equipment from storage area and walkthrough of equipment setup and operation.


Your Other Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the operation of the EDC. Supervision includes the scheduling and checkout of field equipment, inspection of equipment for damage and generation of repair tickets.
  • Provide supervision to all student employees of the EDC.
  • Answer questions or address basic technical issues from students or faculty when checking out or using gear.


Your Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and expertise with various types of film and video equipment. Focus includes but is not limited to: film cameras, DSLRs, digital cinema cameras, ENG/EFP cameras, and lighting and grip equipment.
  • Experience at an educational or commercial equipment rental, vending, or repair facility.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear manner that is appropriate to the audience.

Salary: $30,537.00
