CHANCELLOR

(SAN GERMÁN CAMPUS)

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. from an accredited Institution.  Extensive and progressive experience in leadership, management and academic roles of extraordinary complexity, confidentiality and responsibility. Including extensive knowledge and mastery of the academic processes and regulations applicable to the practice of higher education in Puerto Rico and the provisions of accrediting agencies. High-level executive management skills, which means directing, formulating and evaluating wide-ranging operations that include strategic plans and the establishment of goals and objectives, among others.  Ability to make effective decisions.  Knowledge of the application of technology to the teaching process.  Ability to exercise effective leadership and inspire commitment to the ecumenical Christian values of the University System.  Ability and willingness to work as part of a team and establish effective working relationships.  Oral and written proficiency in Spanish and English.
