Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the AVP for Facilities, this position will be responsible for providing technical support for work control systems; computers; various software; cell phones; and network copiers. This position will support all work management system (computerized maintenance management system - CMMS) environments, including testing, development, pre-prod, training and production. This position will also manage the FM web site and web content and will assist other groups within FM in the research and selection of specialized software needed to perform their jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related degree OR 5 years of computer/systems administration experience
- Five years of experience in hardware and software installation, testing, and operation
- Experience with database management/development and metric reporting tools
- Knowledge of maintenance terminology which includes, but is not limited to HVAC, boiler, electric, plumbing, carpentry trades
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license with low risk driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Experience working with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and other types of facilities software (energy management, CADD, space planning, etc.)
- Experience troubleshooting departmental computers, peripherals and software
- Experience acting as system consultant and trainer for members of a department

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
