Position Summary Information

Key Responsibilities
Juniata College, an NCAA Division III Institution, invites applications for a 12 month, intern level, Athletic Communications intern. Juniata is a co-educational, liberal arts college and highly regarded for its academic excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Updating the athletics webpage
- Logging in-game statistics
- Coordinating live stream video coverage
- Assisting with game day management
- Creating materials utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Premiere, and Photoshop
- Managing various social media platforms, such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
- Writing game recaps and additional feature articles for the web

AA/ EOE Position Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years as a student worker or intern in athletic communications/sports information at the collegiate level or suitable experience in a related field
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Attention to detail alongside the ability to think strategically and solve problems quickly under pressure
Knowledge of and adherence to Juniata College, NCAA Division III, and Landmark Conference rules and regulations are required Supervision Required/Given
This position reports to the Director of Athletic Communication. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, etc.)
- Experience with video recording and editing. Motion graphic experience is a plus
- Creative, forward-thinking mentality with a sense of humor
