Assistant or Associate Professor of Data Analytics

Job Description Summary:
The Department of Applied Business Sciences and Economics in the College of Business and Public Management at the University of La Verne seeks a candidate to fill a tenure-track position in Data Analytics to begin in Fall 2022. The Department seeks an individual who strives to be an outstanding teacher and scholar. The new faculty member is expected to demonstrate the ability to publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, to teach in a small-size environment, and to provide service to the university and community.

The candidate selected will have an opportunity to join a committed and diverse faculty and to play a key role in planning the future direction and growth of the College, and participate in collaborative research projects, and outreach to the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. CBPM seeks candidates whose teaching, research, and service have prepared them to contribute to the university's commitment to diversity and inclusivity in higher education. The College is interested in candidates who understand the barriers facing women and people of color and first-generation college students, and who have a record of success advising individuals from groups underrepresented in higher education.

Established in 1891, the University of La Verne is an independent, comprehensive, doctoral-granting institution in southern California with a strong emphasis on teaching excellence and a growing emphasis on research and publications.
