Science (Biology) Instructor

To teach biology courses in a face-to-face and/or virtual environment.  This environment will include effective assessment of student learning with course design that connects students to content, each other, and the world.

Applicants must have at least a Master's degree in Biology or a Master's degree in a related field and 18 graduate credit hours in Biology or qualifying fields as established in the Iowa Department of Education's Iowa Community Colleges Guidelines for Faculty Qualifications; meet the standards of the Iowa Central Quality Faculty Plan established by the College Board of Trustees; teaching or training experience preferred; technology competency for instruction, communication, and professional contributions; and must possess good communication and organizational skills, be detail oriented, and work as a team member.
