Specialist Testing Proctor – Part Time



Part Time Position

Position Responsibilities:
  • Support all academic testing requirements of the College within the Office of Testing Services
  • Proctor and administer a variety of placement tests (Accuplacer) and classroom tests to diverse population of individuals, including but not limited to those with various disabilities
  • Assist students, faculty, and staff with inquiries
  • Assist with scheduling of all academic testing, activities, and services
  • Ability to appraise workflow and utilize resources to maximize productivity
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and diplomacy
  • Perform office administration operations and clerical duties including typing, filing, and answering phones
  • Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google suite
  • Excellent organizational skills, customer service skills, and communication skills including interpersonal, written and verbal; detail-oriented self-starter
  • Ability to multi-task, work under deadline pressure, and be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods while overseeing tests in a computer lab
  • Ability to work with a diverse population
  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a collaborative manner with students, faculty and staff
