Position Summary

We are looking for an Office Assistant to support the Office of the Vice President/ COO . The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, driven, have the ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, technical skills and a professional demeanor. To be successful in this role, you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the administration branch, getting hands on experience while making great connections.

This is a nine month long position, working up to 40 hours per week. This role is not currently benefits eligible.



• Preparing reports, daily correspondence, etc.
• Website maintenance, Org chart creation and maintenance
• Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner
• Filing and file organization.
• Misc. stocking, cleaning, distributing, etc.
• Meeting room set up and clean up, ordering/picking up lunches.
• Events organization
• Greeting visitors/VP’s/board members, etc. and assisting with their needs.
• Misc tasks as assigned from or with VP and Assoc. VP
• Answer phones and distribute messages
• Acting as back up for the Executive Assistant
• Assisting the EA with meeting prep materials & follow up
• Attend, record misc. meetings and type meeting minutes

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an administrative support environment.
• Previous experience working as a technical assistant
