Gannon University's Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure or teaching track core faculty member to serve as the Clinical Coordinator for the Speech-Language Pathology Program on the Erie, PA campus. Responsibilities:

The faculty work collaboratively with colleagues, deliver instruction, advise students, engage in scholarly activities in keeping with the Boyer Model of Scholarship, and participates in university, professional, and community service.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Director to support the administrative and instructional functions of the program. This position must fulfill all responsibilities of the Coordinator of Clinical Education defined by the accrediting body, CAA. These responsibilities include but are not limited to recruitment and maintenance of clinical sites and preceptors, supervision of clinical sites, training and evaluation of clinical preceptors, coordination of students' clinical training, management of students' clock hours, and supervision and evaluation of student learning. He/she will develop course syllabi, course materials, and assess student learning outcomes, and participate in program assessment to ensure adherence to current CAA standards. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with faculty to teach graduate-level courses in the Master's of Speech-Language Pathology degree program and the undergraduate-level courses in the Bachelor of Science Communication Sciences and Disorders program.

Requirements include a clinical doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Candidates must be ASHA certified (CCC-SLP) and in good standing with ASHA's Council for Certification. The candidate must possess (or be eligible for) a current Pennsylvania license in Speech-Language Pathology. Preference will be given to individuals who have a minimum of five years of clinical and professional experience, at least two years of college teaching and supervision, and possess demonstrated knowledge of ASHA accreditation standards. Experience in coordination of clinical practicum placement is also highly desirable.
