  Senior Web Application Developer $64,817 - $81,021 Wolfson Campus 1003130         Job Summary            

The Senior Web Application Developer analyzes, designs and implements computations and processes necessary for computer solutions. The position develops and maintains assigned information systems to ensure efficient systems integration and operation. This is a Professional Exempt Contractual (PEC) position for which an annual contract reflecting the base salary within the fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th) will be issued after ratification by Miami Dade College’s District Board of Trustees.


 Duties & Responsibilities            

•Designs, develops, deploys, and supports new and enhance existing database-driven websites and internal business applications
•Designs database structures to support the web applications, create stored procedures, triggers, views and functions
•Follows established coding and documentation standards
•Leads the design and implementation of certain projects as needed and serves as resource for other developers
•Develops and maintains website content management systems 
•Performs data analysis and generates reports
•Develops a variety of integration techniques
•Designs and suggests new coding standards and optimum methods of problem solving
•Performs other duties as assigned

    Minimum Requirements            

•Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming; or Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience
