Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor in Video Storytelling

About the Opportunity

The School of Journalism at Northeastern University invites applicants to apply for a Teaching Professor (Assistant or Associate rank) in video storytelling.

Responsibilities:

We seek applicants with a strong interest in inclusive, dynamic, interdisciplinary programs that straddle the intersection of journalism, communications, video storytelling and advocacy. The position will offer opportunities to teach undergraduate and graduate students. The candidate will teach courses at all levels, including offerings dealing with social justice and digital story telling.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating video journalism, a track record of producing video, and experience teaching video skills to students.

Qualifications:

Master's degree required in journalism, communications or a related field by appointment start date. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. Ability to work within both academia and industry is highly encouraged.
