Job Summary
The Department of Electrical Computer & Energy Engineering (ECEE) at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a teaching faculty position in the Engineering partnership program with Colorado Mesa University to start in August 2022.

Who We Are
In 2008, the University of Colorado Boulder and Colorado Mesa University began a partnership to offer accredited bachelor’s degrees in engineering at the campus of Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO. The partnership programs started by offering a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering was launched in 2019. Each engineering partnership program is offered in its entirety at Colorado Mesa University, but students graduate with degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder. During the first two years of each partnership program, students take courses at Colorado Mesa University from faculty of Colorado Mesa University. The remainder of each program is delivered at Colorado Mesa University by faculty of the University of Colorado who are resident at Colorado Mesa University.
The partnership programs currently have 14 faculty members in Civil, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering and, to date, more than 170 students have graduated from the partnership programs. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
This position will support the new Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering offered through the partnership programs at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. This position has responsibilities for teaching three upper-division undergraduate courses in electrical and computer engineering per semester. Responsibilities of this position also include developing elective courses, student advising, outreach and recruiting, professional development, and fostering and maintaining relationships with industry.

What We Can Offer
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000.

What We Require
Applicants must hold either a Ph.D. in electrical engineering or electrical and computer engineering or a closely related discipline, or an M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering with five or more years of professional experience.
