This position supports the use of application systems by
the UNCP campus. Duties include the support of packaged
enterprise and departmental applications, the development and
support of local applications and interfaces between existing
systems, the integration of disparate systems, the installation and
support of application layer and middleware products, and ongoing
monitoring of web, application and middleware systems and
interfaces. This position compliments system administrators in the
Enterprise Systems and Networking units of DoIT by assisting with
the installation, configuration, management and support of web,
application and middleware layer products. This position assists
with the development and integration of technologies used by other
DoIT units. This position performs basic system administration
duties as needed.
Minimum Training and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and three to four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Management Preferences: The person in this position
should have at least one year of experience integrating an
enterprise level application with a
Banner ERP system.
Web based application development experience is also a plus.
Experience with Banner Student module, experience with a degree
audit system, working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL including
script writing, creating procedures, packages, triggers, views, and
tables.
