The Department of Supply Chain Management in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is seeking applications from those interested in a Postdoctoral Research Scholar position with an anticipated start date of Summer/Fall 2022.

Expectations/Essential Functions

  • The postdoctoral scholar will develop his or her own research, in addition to contributing to the ongoing research of faculty mentor(s) within the SCM department. Our faculty members have a wide range of research interests, and the postdoctoral scholar can work with more than one faculty member.
  • The postdoctoral scholar will also have opportunities to teach.
  • We anticipate that the postdoctoral scholar will be an active participant in workshops, conferences, and events at W. P. Carey School of Business.
  • This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, benefits-eligible, fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) appointment with the possibility of a one-year renewal.  Salary is competitive.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in one of the relevant fields of economics, public policy, operations management, operations research, or other related areas.  Applicant must have degree conferred before the start date.

Desired Qualifications:  (i) Strong writing skills, presentations skills developed at conferences; (ii) skills in advanced quantitative, experimental, or empirical research methods, and possession of an independent research agenda.
