The College of Arts & Sciences at Dakota State University invites applications for a nine-month, full-time, benefits-eligible, tenure-track faculty position in Chemistry. Rank will be determined based on the applicant’s qualifications. The start date of the position is Fall 2022. The candidate will be expected to teach general education chemistry courses plus some upper-level chemistry courses to support other majors.

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching general education chemistry courses plus some upper-level chemistry courses to support other majors.
  • Researching and publishing relevant scholarship.
  • Additional duties may include advising students, serving on university committees, assisting with recruitment activities.

 


Required Qualifications:
  • PhD degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline. ABD will be considered – degree completion must occur no later than May 2024.
  • Effective written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to utilize technology in your instruction.
