Position Summary
The School of Physical Therapy seeks applicants for a temporary full-time position for fall 2022 at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. This position involves teaching all lecture and laboratory sections of PHTH 704, which is the musculoskeletal lower extremity content in our program (8 contact hours). This position will also cover the clinical connections content in PHTH 656 Gross and Applied Anatomy I.

All faculty must comply with accreditation requirements of the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education ( CAPTE ). Minimum Qualifications
Current unrestricted license or eligibility for PT licensure in Pennsylvania.
Minimum 3 years post-licensure clinical PT practice in orthopedic physical therapy.
Doctoral Preparation ( DPT, PhD, EdD or other).
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and mentoring skills.
Demonstrated commitment to the education of diverse populations.
Successful performance in an interview and teaching demonstration. Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching one or more musculoskeletal physical therapy courses at the graduate level in a physical therapy program.
Strong skills in use of educational technology.
Current clinical practice in orthopedic physical therapy, advanced training, or American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities ( ABPTS ) certification as a clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy.
