Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a full time temporary faculty member (Instructor or Assistant Professor, depending upon qualifications and experience) to teach Information Systems (IS) courses in China (face-to-face) beginning fall 2022 (Faculty housing is provided by the University for face-to-face teaching assignments in China). This position is part of a degree program partnership between SRU and a prominent University in China. If on-site teaching is not permitted due to governmental travel restrictions, this position will require online teaching for the partnership program (for which housing would not provided).

This position will be in the Healthcare Administration and Information Systems department, which is part of the School of Business at Slippery Rock University. Duties include excellent classroom and/or online instruction and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must have a Masters degree in Information Systems or closely related field
- Commitment to the education of diverse populations
- Ability to work productively with students and colleagues
- Ability to effectively teach IS program courses face-to-face and online, both domestically and abroad
- Successful performance in an interview and teaching demonstration Preferred Qualifications
Areas of interest to the department are: data/business analytics, cyber security, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, and health care but all areas of IS will be entertained. Preference will be given to candidates having a demonstrable research agenda in core Information Systems areas that can include undergraduates.
