Job Description:

Joining one of the nation's leading Annual Fund teams, the Crusader Athletics Fund Fellow will assist with the implementation of a fundraising plan to secure annual support for Holy Cross' 27 varsity programs.

In order to meet both donor and dollar fundraising goals, this role will oversee a select group of team-specific annual fundraising initiatives, including alumni-athlete and parent volunteer committees in coordination with each head coach.

Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Develop fundraising plans for a select group of Holy Cross' varsity programs in partnership with the director.
  • Direct efforts through high-touch sport-specific alumni volunteer management and identify alumni and parent prospects within the community of each sport. Cultivate, solicit and steward athletics donors in partnership with sport-specific volunteer groups, the athletics department and the director.
  • Execute the annual giving stewardship plan for Athletics.
  • Oversee athletics engagement events such as team-specific special events, reunions, alumni game day activities and receptions around select home and away games in key markets for Holy Cross.
  • Coordinate coaches' communications and orchestrate athletics giving days/challenges in collaboration with colleagues in the office of advancement and athletics department.
  • Partner with annual giving colleagues on Crusader Athletics Fund communications, student-athlete fundraising efforts and reunion fundraising opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned or as necessary.



Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree, ideally from Holy Cross.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in college athletics or the Advancement field. Knowledge of Division I athletics is preferred.
  • Effective experience in enlisting and motivating volunteers.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with project management, social media platforms and content publishing, preferred.
  • Must be able to multitask and work under deadline pressure
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends and/or holidays during peak seasons
