The School of Nursing in the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University has developed a research-intensive/teaching/learning environment for students and faculty. The School of Nursing invites applications for three Open Rank Clinical Faculty positions for the Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Programs in the areas of: Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, and Family Nurse Practitioner. These positions are full-time, benefits-eligible, 52-weeks, non-tenure track as an assistant, associate or full clinical professor with a starting date of summer/fall, 2022 or until the position is filled.

Responsibilities include participation in the development, implementation, instruction, evaluation and academic advising of students in courses in the Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Programs. These positions require the ability to develop content for both online and on ground programs and participate in in both didactic and clinical courses. The incumbent will participate in the administration of graduate student admissions, clinical placement, and ensure the highest quality of clinical training experiences for graduate nursing students, maintaining collaborative relationships with clinical agencies and institutions, and continuously developing new relationships and innovative programming in consultation from the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs and the School of Nursing Dean. The incumbent will fully participate in the School of Nursing and the Bouve College of Health Sciences faculty meetings and serve on faculty committees.

Qualifications require a degree in nursing and earned doctorate in nursing

or related field by the start date of the appointment; and eligibility for an

unrestricted RN licensure in Massachusetts with national certification as

warranted. Applicant should demonstrate 3-5 years of clinical and teaching

experience in graduate or undergraduate education.​
