Centenary College of Louisiana seeks an individual to lead the college’s grants and endowments programs. Centenary maintains a vibrant endowment program, with every faculty member holding an endowed chair or professorship, and the College has been consistently awarded significant grants at the local, state, and national level. The next Director will maintain these programs, as well as diversify and extend the College’s grants and endowment initiatives.

The Director reports to and works closely with the Provost and Dean of the College and liaises with Development and the Business Office. Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Identifies, analyzes, and coordinates the application processes for potential funding sources for academic and operational
  • Reviews all extramural grant applications including budget
  • Assists in tracking and recording post-award grant accounts and
  • Supports faculty and staff members throughout the entire grant-making process from pre- to post-
  • Ensures timely reporting and compliance with grants and endowments
  • Serves as the College's liaison with the Louisiana Board of Regents, non-profit advocacy organizations, and government agencies in coordination with Cabinet members.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree; strong writing skills, including experience in professional or technical writing and successful experience writing grant proposals and grant reports.

Preferred qualifications include educational and/or work experience at a selective, private, residential liberal arts college and experience writing academic grants.
