GUILFORD COLLEGE’s Writing Program invites applications for a full-time, one year, non-tenure-track Visiting/Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin August 2022, with the possibility of renewal. The candidate will teach six courses per year in our first year writing program. We seek a creative teacher-scholar prepared to promote our writing intensive curriculum. A Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric or Writing Studies is preferred.
Located in Greensboro, NC, Guilford is a selective coeducational liberal arts college founded in 1837 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) with approximately 1,200 students. The Writing Program seeks to embody Guilford College’s commitment to anti-racism and equity.
