Title: Theatre Adjunct - Meramec Theatre
Employee Classification: P/T Faculty Monthly Pay
Department Design, Visual and Performing Arts
Position Summary:
Teach a variety of undergraduate theatre courses such as Introduction to Theatre and Stagecraft. Could possibly include work with live productions
Primary Duties Performed:
Instructors are responsible for the instruction of all assigned classes; evaluation and assignment of grades; maintenance of student attendance and records; and use of successful teaching methods. Instructors are required to meet all scheduled classes and hold office hours. Instruction should occur with an appreciation and respect for diversity.
Successful candidates are responsible for completing annual training.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in the subject/related field, or a Masters degree with at least 18 approved graduate hours in the subject or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
College level teaching experience.
Community College teaching experience
Salary Range:
Commensurate with Experience and Education
