Schedule Information: Day and/or evening part time teaching positions, based on enrollment. Includes evening and weekend hours.

Hours per Week: Vary upon the needs of the students/department.

Benefits: N/A

Duties of Position: Teach weekly group lessons to non-credit students enrolled in the Community Music and Arts Center programs.

Communicate with other team members and share curriculum material and syllabus.

Coordinate activities, schedules, prepare lesson plans and maintain a consistent weekly presence.

Integrate technology into the delivery of instruction when needed.

Attend department and faculty meetings.

Attend CE Instructor dinners and other meetings when requested.

Involvement in multi-disciplinary activities is expected.

Educational Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent

Experience Requirements: Proven record of training and proficiency in your discipline and additional expertise in various dance traditions will be considered.

Successful teaching experience is required.

Experience and passion for working with adults and seniors.

Ability to communicate ideas, concepts and demonstrate techniques to people of different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.

Must have a strong commitment to teaching and a genuine interest in the life-long development of individual students.

Positive attitude, excellent communication skills required, openness to new ideas, and self-starter attitude.

High standards for quality, good judgment.

Ability to teach more than one discipline is a plus
