Job Summary
Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks a Senior Integration Analyst/Developer to join the Information Technology Services group. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join a team who promotes institutional success by providing our campus partners with value-adding information management services and a continuously modern and up-to-date technological infrastructure.
The Senior Integration Analyst/Developer with a commitment to centering inclusivity, diversity and equity in executing key responsibilities, is responsible for evaluating, developing, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading a wide variety of complex technology solutions and projects in order to support RISD’s complex ERP environment. The successful candidate will provide application support including, but not limited to, coding, testing, documenting, troubleshooting, refinement and installation of programs / systems in order to satisfy user requirements.

Essential Functions:
- Provides administrative software system support including
coding, testing, documenting, troubleshooting, refinement &
installation of programs/systems in order to satisfy user,
legal/regulatory and audit requirements.
- Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end platform
integrations from proposal development through execution
(design/build/test/deploy).
- Identifies, analyzes and troubleshoots a wide variety of
complex business and application problems related to Workday (Human
Capital Management, Finance, and Student) and related applications
and data.
- Resolves complex technical problems involving multiple
application environments by applying appropriate software patches
or code remedies via Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party
coding.
- Develops and documents detailed program module test procedures,
generates required test data files, and execute testing
procedures.
- Evaluates, modifies and performs comprehensive regression
testing of integrations to support updates/new versions of software
applications.
- Develops and modifies multifactored/matrix level reports using
appropriate tools.
- Prepares system and programming documentation for users and
other Analyst/Developers in accordance with internal and external
standards.
- Proactively monitors in-place integrations and addresses
day-to-day support issues.
- Writes operating system level scripts to perform scheduled
jobs.
- Demonstrated experience building integration testing
plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with wide variety
of users operating at all technical skill levels.
- Ability to interpret user needs to appropriate technology
solutions.
- Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and work effectively with
multiple diverse populations.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of ad-hoc
project-based groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of six (6) years of application programming experience;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Workday support experience or previous administrative support
in higher education.
- Experience with Workday, Workday Studio, json, EIB, Core
Connector, xml/xslt, Java/J2EE, REST, SOAP, BIRT, RaaS, and
integration middleware platform.
