The Department of Mathematics and the SEEK Program of Queens College of the City University of New York invite applications for a joint full-time position at the rank of Lecturer (Doctoral Schedule), beginning in the Fall 2022 semester. The duties of this position include teaching undergraduate courses in mathematics, developing innovative methods of instruction, curricular development, serving on departmental and college committees, and advising students. A Lecturer’s primary obligation is to provide quality, inspiring instruction to students. This position requires 24 semester-hours of classroom teaching per year, which corresponds approximately to a 4/4 teaching load, with no released time for research. Reappointment for a sixth year earns a Certificate of Continuous Employment (CCE) from CUNY, equivalent to tenure.
