Founded in 1919, AUC moved to a new 270-acre state-of-the-art
campus in New Cairo in 2008. The University also operates in its

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering invites
applications for a full-time faculty position in the areas of:
Human Computer Interaction (and related fields of Graphics,
Computer Generated Imagery, VR, AR, Gaming), as well as Computer
Security. Exceptional candidates from other areas will be
considered. Preference is given to Assistant and Associate
Professor applications. The candidate is expected to teach and
conduct research, play an active role in the department, the
school, and university service activities, and actively cooperate
with other faculty within the Department.
A Fixed-Term Faculty Position
Candidates should hold a PhD or equivalent in computing or a
related domain. Successful candidates should have an ongoing
program of research and publication, have strong leadership
capability or potential and proven skills in high quality teaching.
Mastery of the English language is required. Industrial experience
and a Computer Engineering background is a plus.
