Purpose of Position
The Coordinator of Leadership and Programming will support student development in the Center for Student Engagement. This position will assist the Associate Director of Student Engagement by providing support with registered student organization registration and renewal. This individual will also provide assistance with the daily duties of the MyEngagement (Presence) platform management system. Leadership opportunities for all student leaders will be a focus of this position; this includes overseeing the fall and spring President’s Academy (Officer Training Conference). This position will support the Northern Kentucky Leadership Institute by serving as the primary advisor to the Leadership Mentors and the Freshman Service Leadership Committee. This position will also support the Activities Programming Board by advising a portion of their committees. Primary Responsibilities
| Serve as the primary advisor to Leadership Mentors and provide oversight and management of all programs and retreats associated with this organization. Create learning outcomes and assessments for each major program.
| Serve as the primary advisor to the Freshman Service Leadership Committee. This includes recruitment of the organization and mentorship to the new students. This also requires planning the FreshStart leadership retreat for incoming residential students.
| Provide developmental training for student leaders in organizational development, navigating campus bureaucracy (policy, forms, budgets, signatures) and provide other training as appropriate Serve as a resource to student organizations. Collect data and track learning outcomes and results of student organizations. Will also plan the summer NKLI retreat.
| Develop and oversee a Leadership University speaker series for all students. Track and update student participation. Request speakers and coordinate the Leadership University calendar each semester.
| Assist students with MyEngagement (Presence) and annual registration.
| Advise specific committee of the Activities Programming Board committees and events in conjunction with the Associate Director of Student Engagement. Qualifications
At least two years of experience with special event programming on a college campus. Comfort with technology, public speaking and basic computer skills.

Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Minimum Experience 2 years Salary minimum $17.63 per hour. Pay Grade S67
