Lecturer of Software Engineering
Department of Software Engineering and Game Development
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Software Engineering faculty position in the Department of Software Engineering and Game Development. This position begins August 1, 2022.
Responsibilities Include:
- Nine-month position with optional summer teaching.
- Teaching expectations include teaching the undergraduate courses in Computing and Software Engineering. Faculty are expected to teach in a variety of instructional modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online. Generally, 90% of workload.
- Service: Department/College/University/professional community is expected. Generally, 10% of workload.
- Participate in course and program development and assessment activities.
- Work with diverse communities.
- Work collegially with colleagues.
An earned Master’s, or the foreign equivalent, in Computing or a related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications Include
- College teaching experience
- Experience in teaching online or hybrid courses
- Experience working with diverse communities
