Assistant Professor of Religious Studies (limited term): Race and Religion

Elon University invites applications for a one-year limited term assistant professor position in Religious Studies, specializing in Race and Religion. The applicant should have teaching experience, and should hold a Ph.D. in Religious Studies or Religious Ethics or have ABD status. This position begins in August 2022 and entails teaching six courses over the course of the 2022-2023 academic year. Courses may include “Religion, Race, and Resistance” (REL 1280), “Religion in a Global Context” (REL 1000), and other courses related to the candidate’s expertise.
