This is a 10-month faculty position. Primary duties include assisting with and teaching general chemistry and organic chemistry labs; chemical preparation using dilution, standardization, and purification techniques; operation and maintenance of chemistry instrumentation and laboratory equipment; and maintaining a chemical inventory and the required safety records in accordance with University, local, state, and federal guidelines. Familiarity with Canvas or a similar LMS is desired.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will collaborate with and support our Chemistry Laboratory Manager and other chemistry faculty. Minimum qualifications include an M.S. in Chemistry or a related field.
