Job Description:

The Curriculum Coordinator, Charter Academy is a 12-month professional position with an anticipated start date of spring 2022, but a different start date may be negotiated. The successful candidate will oversee curricula and ensures compliance with the Charter Contract and state and local standards. Assists the Principal in analyzing student performance data and completing all required reports. Communicates regularly and effectively with students, parents, and other professionals, demonstrating an extensive working knowledge of the Academy and all policies and procedures. Reports to the Principal, Charter Academy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a master’s degree in Education or related field and three years related full-time teaching or administrative experience required. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer experience working in a K-12 setting, successful completion of the Florida teacher licensing examination, and experience working as a member of a team with minimum supervision.

SALARY: $45,000 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)
