Assistant/Associate Professor – Cybersecurity

We are currently seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor for Cybersecurity at our downtown Manhattan campus.

Position Overview:

The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Cybersecurity.

Position Responsibilities:

The candidate is expected to lead high-quality instructional and scholarly research activities, play a major role in the development and assessment of academic programs and students’ advisement, and establish and maintain professional relationships. In addition, the candidate is expected to foster education and research activities hosted by Pace’s Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (https://seidenberg.pace.edu/cybersecurity)

The ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • D. (or equivalent) in either Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area. Doctoral candidates are welcome to apply if the degree is expected to be conferred by August 2022.
  • Demonstrated evidence of outstanding teaching, scholarly accomplishment, service, and funding activity in cybersecurity.
  • Strong communication skills.
