TENURE TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – MATHEMATICS TEACHER EDUCATION
The Department of Education, Counseling, and Leadership (ECL) in the College of Education and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, Assistant Professor in Teacher Education. The position requires an earned doctorate in Mathematics Education, by August 2022, and proof of a current or previous teaching license in mathematics. Preference will be given to those candidates who also have higher education teaching experience.
Mathematics Education - Qualified applicants are required to have K-12 mathematics classroom teaching experience. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, teaching undergraduate courses, conducting scholarly research, advising students, and providing service to the field and the University. Additional responsibilities may include supervision of teacher candidates in their clinical field placements.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The starting date for the position is academic year beginning August 2022.
