University of the Ozarks invites applications for a current opening in the Pat Walker Teacher Education Program as an Instructor of Education, beginning July 1, 2022.  Candidates must be motivated to work with lower-level and upper-level students and their experiences, complementing the current faculty and programs in the Education Department within the Division of Social Sciences as well as across divisional boundaries.  This position is a 5:5 load; teaching thirty (30) student credit hours per academic year. The ideal applicant for this position would hold a master’s degree from a regionally accredited university in Education or a closely related field and would hold a current Arkansas K-12 licensure with additional credential in special education.  Preference will be given to applicants with higher-education teaching experience, student teacher observation experience, and / or special education or science education or computer science credentialing (or ability to obtain).
