As a part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University seeks applicants for Academic Administrative Systems and Programs Coordinator. The Academic Administrative Systems and Programs will promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by assisting in the management of the academic systems and programs overseen by the Office of the Provost. The primary responsibilities for the position include 1) the management of the faculty employment and activity data included in Colleague and Digital Measures, 2) the creation and management of the content on the Office of the Provost’s website, 3) the logistics and preparations for academic events, and 4) assistance with the completion of administrative work needed to support accreditation and academic programming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
  • Actively engage the Catholic Franciscan mission and identity of Marian University by modeling the Franciscan Sponsorship Values and honoring the legacy of the founding congregation through transformative education, unity in diversity, leadership through service, integrating faith and life, and institutional policies.
  • Manage faculty employment and activity data included in Colleague and Digital Measures
  • Create and manage the content on the Office of the Provost’s website
  • Prepare for academic events
  • Assist with the completion of administrative work needed to support accreditation and academic programming
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or some combination of college education and work experience.  
  • Technical fluency with commonly used applications, software, and databases used in higher education including MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Evidence of being a proactive, collaborative problem-solver and team member.
  • Exceptional attention to details.
  • Organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Evidence of the ability to take ownership of projects and work independently to achieve expected goals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
