Essential Functions
- Teach a 1-3 or 2-2 load of mixed upper and lower division courses in area(s) of leadership studies
- Teach via an on-line and hybrid/immersion manner in the DPLS program
- Develop a graduate level course in Indigenous Research Methods/methodology, and/or related courses to decolonialization and leadership
- Produce scholarly contributions to the field of Indigenous knowledge, methods and practice and decolonization
- Academically advise graduate students in the DPLS program
- Serve on various department, school, and university committees
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in the arts and/or sciences, with an emphasis on ethical, social and cultural considerations of Indigenous knowledge, decolonization theories, methods and practices with the requirement that the candidate will have degree in hand by July 15, 2022.

- Evidence of requisite technical and computational skills
- Demonstrated understanding of the mission of a Catholic, Jesuit institution and a willingness to embed those qualities into teaching, advising, and academic citizenship.
- Explicit engagement with issues of leadership in relation to indigenous knowledge and practice
- Demonstrated knowledge of inclusive teaching, and experience engaging diverse populations within national and/or international contexts
- At least two years’ experience in teaching graduate and/or undergraduate students; and a demonstrated ability to facilitate and teach both in a traditional classroom and through alternative delivery methods (e.g., fully online and hybrid learning formats)
