Assistant Director of Marketing Graduate Programs

About Northeastern:
Founded in 1898, Northeastern is a global research university and the recognized leader in experience-driven lifelong learning. Our world-renowned experiential approach empowers our students, faculty, alumni, and partners to create impact far beyond the confines of discipline, degree, and campus.

Our locations—in Boston; Charlotte, North Carolina; London; Portland, Maine; San Francisco; Seattle; Silicon Valley; Toronto; Vancouver; and the Massachusetts communities of Burlington and Nahant—are nodes in our growing global university system. Through this network, we expand opportunities for flexible, student-centered learning and collaborative, solutions-focused research.

Northeastern's comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs— in a variety of on-campus and online formats—lead to degrees through the doctorate in nine colleges and schools. Among these, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degrees designed to prepare students for purposeful lives and careers.

About the Opportunity:
Founded in 1922, the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University offers a unique model of business education that purposely blends innovative classroom learning with real-world business application. At the undergraduate level, both the BS in Business Administration and the BS in International Business programs offer students the opportunity to develop into highly motivated business leaders. Graduate students and corporate learners can choose from several different certificate and full-time and part-time MBA and MS programs designed to enable motivated professionals to accelerate their success in business. The school is committed to embedding a global mindset into all of these programs, as well as in its research and outreach activities.

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director of Marketing is responsible for developing the strategy that drives both the enrollment and reputation goals for a portfolio of Northeastern University D'Amore-McKim School of Business graduate programs. This person leads the implementation of positioning graduate programs with prospective students, current and prospective employers, and other campus constituencies. The Assistant Director helps to position Northeastern well within an increasingly competitive business school industry. The Assistant Director tracks and measures the impact of integrated marketing activities to gauge current success and inform future planning. Strategies must drive and support the School's graduate enrollment goals by delivering a qualified prospective student pool, increasing market awareness, and contributing to the overall success of the School. The Assistant Director collaborates closely with the Director of Marketing, the communications team, enrollment management team, the Lifelong Learning Network, D'Amore-McKim administration, and faculty to meet goals for assigned projects and portfolios.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business with minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing required. Direct marketing experience, including experience with developing marketing plans for enrollment marketing in an agency or marketing-related field is preferred. Previous higher education experience preferred. Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of marketing strategies. Flexible, creative thinker open to new ideas and changing priorities within a fast-paced organization. Strong project management skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think and act both analytically and strategically. Must have strong writing skills and proven ability to edit and proofread documents. Experience working with a marketing automation tool and customer relationship management system (CRM) a plus.
