Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Description: Adjunct – Biology; College of Science & Health; Lisle, IL
Classification: Non-Benefit Eligible

Duties: Benedictine University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach 1-3 biology courses each semester. Common course offerings include undergraduate lectures and labs in: biology courses for non-majors, general biology for majors, genetics, cell biology, human anatomy, human physiology, ecology, a writing intensive course, and others, all offered on an as-needed basis.

While we offer courses in either an in-person or virtual modality, those who are able and willing to teach in-person are especially encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications:



Qualifications: A Master’s or a Doctoral degree in Biology or some discipline within biology is required. Prior teaching experience at the high school or college level is highly desirable. All areas within biology are invited to apply.
